Intelligent Component Architecture Enables Toshiba’s breakthrough technologies to provide excellent diagnostic results. Aplio’s components operate autonomously and communicate with one another directly. This enables the system to perform highly complex data operations in real time resulting in unparalleled image quality and sensitivity.

 

Tera Processing Beamformer Produces a continuous thin beam with focal–point uniformity over all depths, resulting in excellent sensitivity and resolution. Aplio has dedicated processing channels for each individual transducer element and calculates optimum delay pattern real time for each element at each depth.

Quantification ApliGate™ is Aplio’s integrated data management tool, which can obtain raw data, image–level data and data in PC format, so it is ideal for routine purposes as well as research and quantification studies.

 

For raw data, Aplio offers a selection of advanced measurement and analysis packages including contrast for cardiac applications, 3–D quantification and post–measurement options resulting in greater diagnostic confidence.

 

Connectivity Aplio supports all DICOM service classes. Its extensive communication and data management facilities enable seamless integration into hospital and research environment including communication with:

ApliPure The next generation of real–time compound imaging technology using both spatial and frequency compounding simultaneously to deliver images of outstanding clarity and detail resolution.

• Enables faster image acquisition, greater clarity, and reduced speckle

• Based on real-time image acquisition using either fundamental or pulse subtraction THI frequencies

• Render alone or with color Doppler, Advanced Dynamic Flow, pulse wave Doppler, power Doppler and Panoramic View

 

Differential Tissue Harmonics (D-THI) Exclusive to Toshiba and a patented technology, D-THI is applicable to transducers with BT Technology. Sends two frequencies simultaneously for differential frequency generation to obtain high–sensitivity and high–resolution images.

 

Quick Scan For one-button optimization of the 2–D image. Equalizes thousands of image points, forming an image with balanced tissue brightness throughout the field of view.

 

Trapezoid Imaging Enables trapezoid imaging format on the following transducers: • All linear array transducers (except for PLT-308P) • All sector transducers (except for PET-510MA and PET-508MA)

 

Advanced Dynamic Flow Provides high-resolution color imaging of microvessels within tumors and organs. Provides superior resolution as compared to conventional color or power Doppler by applying the same ultra-high bandwidth normally used in grayscale to Doppler signal processing.
