GE Vivid E9 Ultrasound Machine Review

GE Vivid E9 – The GE ultrasound platform across the board to me is the most user friendly design I have seen. Key important factors are the ability to maneuver the deck both up and down and side to side to get an ergonomic fit in a crowded ICU room. For a full size machine the startup time is reasonable. The continuous wave Doppler will usually pick up an envelope even on trivial jets. The low PRF mode helps get those deep pulmonary veins on large patients and in fact can help pick up flow in a lot of situations where you are scanning deep. The color flow has lots of map choices to fit your eyes, with very little adjustment it will show trivial jets with ease. The annotation and measurement packages seem natural even at first use. Pushing and steering this machine is easy for the weight, having both steering mode, and a parking break. After one session with an applications specialist, I was up and running and obtaining 4D images of valves. Learning to manipulate the image comes naturally. The only thing I would change on this machine is the biopsy kits. The probes have indentations where the biopsy guides them snap on. The holes are difficult to clean properly after each scan. It would be easier to clean if the probe had notches that stick out and the biopsy kits had the indented fixtures.
The GE Vivid E9 Ultrasound Machine
One of the best and most versatile cardiac ultrasound machines on the market is the GE Vivid E9, and National Ultrasound is proud to offer this powerful and highly customizable machine. GE completely redesigned the Vivid E9 to focus on 4D ultrasound cardiac imaging and solid ergonomics. This makes cardiac evaluation more efficient, especially in stress echo exams. The E9 also includes Accelerated Volume Architecture, resulting in faster processing times and more patient data via increased volume size, resolution, and rate. The Scan Assist feature allows the user to set their own viewing protocols, saving time to focus on the patient.
Wondering if the GE Vivid E9 is right for your setting and budget? Let one of our friendly staff discuss the best options for you.

Ultrasound Reviews Help Guide the Decision Making Process
Since our founding in 2003, we at National Ultrasound have focused on a single product category: new and used ultrasound systems, parts, and probes. We are a company of technicians with more than 250 years of collective experience working with equipment from the six largest ultrasound manufacturers. Because we are a company of technicians we highly value the expert opinions of people who use ultrasound machines on a daily basis. This is why we decided to create this contest and are excited to share these reviews with you. If you do not see a review for a unit you are interested in please contact us to speak with one of our staff and we will be happy to help you with any questions you have or assist in comparing units to find one that fits your needs and budget.
